I don't think that the issue is a business issue so much as a
technical one.  In the course of our experience with ScreamerNet, we
learned that Amiga networking is simply not as seamless as NT
networking is.  The networking cards themselves are sometimes hard to
find and the networking software vendors have to work hard to keep up
with the network card vendors.  Consequently, application writers
could easily come to think that Amiga networking is not where they
want to spend their time, especially if their time is entirely
occupied making sure that the features work on the other versions.

More than likely it's just an issue of miscommunication, as I never
heard that Amigas would be able to do distributed rendering.  I can
see, however, how someone who's coming at this from the Amiga side
could hear the exact same words that I did and interpret them to mean
something fairly different.
